After defeating Arthur Abraham, Gilberto Ramirez became the first Mexican boxer to win the title of World Champion in super middleweight.
Abraham was defeated during the fight in Las Vegas by the referees decision and lost his WBO belt.
“I came here to make history. I’m happy I did it. Arthur is very heavy-handed, danger at all times. But I took him to Mexican boxing school,” Ramirez said after the fight.
