Real estate continues falling in price in Yerevan

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Average market prices for real estate in multi-apartment buildings in Yerevan reduced by 7.3% or by AMD 20 200 in April, 2011, as compared to the same period last year, making 257 100 AMD (USD 686) for one cubic meter.

Certain reduction in prices (0.2%) was also observed as compared to March, 2011.

Mediamax reports referring the data of State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre that reduction in price for apartments was observed in all communities of the capital city, except for Nubarashen, where there are traditionally the lowest prices for dwelling in Yerevan (149 500 AMD for 1 cubic meter, increase – 3.5%). In Kentron central community, prices for apartments fell by 4.7% in April, making AMD 447 300 for one cubic meter.

Prices for private houses have also reduced by 5% in April, 2011, as compared to the analogous period last year, making 272 400 AMD for 1 cubic meter.

Average prices for apartments in Gyumri reduced by 10% in April, 2011, as compared to April, 2010, making AMD 108 100 for 1 cubic meter, and in Vanadzor they increased by 0.6% and made AMD 93 600.
