Greco-Roman competition has concluded in the European Wrestling Championship in Rome, and today it is the freestyle wrestlers’ turn to compete for medals. Armenia will have 5 representatives in the freestyle competition.
Valodya Frangulyan (65 kg) will wrestle with David Habat (Slovakia) in the qualification round.
In 1/8 finals, Mihran Jaburyan (57 kg) is going to face Dzimchyk Rynchynau (Belarus), Hrayr Alikhanyan (74 kg) will compete against Avtandil Kentchadze (Georgia), while Hovhannes Mkhitaryan (86 kg) and Sargis Hovsepyan (97 kg) are matched with Illia Archaia (Ukraine) and Elizbar Odikadze (Georgia), respectively.
