Greco-Roman wrestlers prepare for Poland tournament

Armenia’s Greco-Roman wrestling team is holding a training camp in Yerevan.

In an interview to Mediamax Sport, Head Coach Levon Julfalakyan said that the team is getting ready for the international tournament in Warsaw at the beginning of September.

“We won’t have participants in under 82kg and heavyweight categories. Arman Baghdasaryan and Maksim Manukyan were supposed to compete in 72kg and 87kg weight categories, but they have minor injuries and will have to miss this tournament,” Julfalakyan said.

The participants for the international tournament in Poland on September 7-9 are Norayr Hakhoyan (55kg), Armen Melikyan and Gevorg Gharibyan (60 kg), Slavik Galstyan (63 kg), Karen Aslanyan (67kg), Arsen Julfalakyan and Karapet Chalyan (77kg), Artur Aleksanyan and Artur Shahinyan (97kg).
