Armenian freestyle wrestling team won its second Olympic quota at the qualifying championship in Serbia.
Garnik Mnatsakanyan (57 kg) marked a hard-won victory with 5:3 score against Anatolii Buruian (Moldova). He qualified for finals and won the Olympic quota.
Mnatsakanyan defeated Italian and Turkish athletes earlier.
David Safaryan celebrated 2 victories in under 65 kg weight category and qualified for semi-finals. Armenian wrestler lost to Magomedmurad Gadzhiyev (Poland) and will compete for the bronze medal.
Greco-Roman wrestler Roman Amoyan (59 kg) scored a victory in qualifying stage, but left the competition in 1/8 finals.
Armenian freestyle wrestling team also earned an Olympic quota through super-weight Levan Berianidze at World Championship in Las Vegas.
