As of the results of the survey conducted among sports journalists, the 10 best sportsmen of 2014 have been announced.
The survey has been carried out among 30 sportsmen. They have recognized Artur Aleksanyan, the World and Europe champion, Greco-Roman wrestler, the Best Sportsman of Armenia 2014. He received 300 scores.
Arsen Julfalakyan, World Champion of 2014, Greco-Roman wrestler, is the second with 279 points. Weightlifter Ruben Aleksanyan is the third with 189 points.
Grigor Grigoryan, Vanik Avetisyan, Hovhannes Davtyan, Tigran Kirakosyan, Mavrik Nasibyan, Artur Davtyan and Garik Barseghyan are the 4-10th respectively.
The Armenian Greco-Roman wrestlers’ team was recognized the best which was the first in the World Championship by the number of gold medals.
