The International Qatar Cup, which is a qualification event for Tokyo Olympics, has ended in Doha. Three Armenian weightlifters are bringing home medals from the tournament.
The heavy weight athletes were the last to compete. Both Armenia representatives won medals.
Silver medalist of World Championship Gor Minasyan has taken the gold with combined result of 424kg. Bronze medalist of European and World championships Ruben Aleksanyan won the silver medal in Doha with combined result of 416kg.
Earlier, Tatev Hakobyan (87kg) won the gold in women’s competition.
