Armenia weightlifting team has won its first medal in the 2018 IWF Junior World Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, after Rafik Harutyunyan (77kg) recorded the final result of 324kg and won the bronze.
Latvia’s Ritvars Suharevs took the gold in this category with 336kg and Iranian athlete Hossein Soltani received the silver medal for his overall result of 326kg.
Two other Armenian weightlifters to compete in this championship are Samvel Babakyan (94kg) and Varazdat Lalayan (104kg).
