Armenian athletes have had brilliant appearance at U15 and U17 European Junior Championships in Landskrona, Sweden.
According to a non-official calculation of team medals, Armenian weightlifters have won 29 medals – 14 gold, 11 silver and 4 bronze. Armenian teams were the first in number of medals.
The winners are – Armen Grigoryan (56 kg), Hamlet Mnatsakanyan (50 kg), Levon Manukyan (62 kg), Sargis Kirakosyan (94 kg), Aida Manukyan (+ 69 kg), and Arpine Dalalyan (+ 69 kg).
Rafik Harutyunyan, Karen Margaryan and Sona Poghosyan won the silver. Arsen Martirosyan won the bronze.
