Debut: Performed and lost at Tbilisi International Tournament in 2011.
Start of career: Made first steps in 1998. However, left sport some time later and resumed training in 2010, after a 6-year break.
Choice of sports: Maksim’s younger brother went to wrestling first. He followed his brother and made his own first steps in sport: “I was physically strong, I defeated everyone, and that made me love the sport.”
