Armenia’s national athletics team has traveled to Istanbul to attend the training camp and later the Balkan Athletics Indoor Championship.
The Athletics Federation of Armenia has told Mediamax Sport that Armenia the team includes Marietta Minasyan, Marianna Baghyan, Anna Abrahamyan, Lilit Harutyunyan, Razmik Mkrtchyan, Manuk Manukyan, Levon Aghasyan, and Artak Hambardzumyan.
There will be other Armenian athletes in the championship as well, who applied for participation independently. They will travel on their own and represent Artsakh, Gyumri, Kapan, Vanadzor and Yerevan.
The junior competition begins on February 9 and the senior championship kicks off on February 16.
