ISU World Figure Skating Championships kick off in Helsinki

ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2017 has kicked off in Helsinki today. The competition offers the first quota places for the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.

Four Armenian skaters will compete for Olympic quotas: Anastasia Galustyan, Slavik Hayrapetyan, and the pair Tina Karapetyan-Simon Senekal.

These championships will see a very fierce competition, with a number of acclaimed skaters involved.
