Armenian journalists’ football team will again participate in traditional Journalists’ International Football Tournament to be held from September 10 to 12 in Lithuanian town of Druskininkai.
The event will be held for the 16th time. This year 10 teams will participate, including ones from Armenia, Latvia, Poland, Moldova and Morocco. They will be joined by 5 teams from different towns of Lithuania.
All the teams will compete against each other. Each team will play 9 matches during a day. At the end of the tournament the participant teams will participate in the opening ceremony of World Futsal Tournament on September 12 in Kaunas.
Lithuanian Journalists' Union is the traditional organizer of the tournament.
The general sponsor of Armenian team’s participation is TotoGaming bookmaker company.
Last time the Armenian journalists' team took the second place, prior to that it three times took the 3d place and received bronze medals.
