Armenian national football team has recorded a second win the Euro 2020 qualifiers by beating Greece 2-3.
Head coach of the Armenian team Armen Gyulbudaghyants pointed out the dedication of his players in the post-match press conference and praised their efforts.
“We have Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and you can expect him to lead the players and get wins.
“The victory was hard-fought, the players showed real dedication. They were disciplined and diligent. A few times they lost focus, which allowed the other team to score, so these 3 points have been difficult to earn.

We expected strong pressure in the second half. In the first one, the Greeks were losing 0-2 at home and they would do anything to score. Our team was well-organized and focused. I’m proud that they scored the third goal.
One of the most important things is desire and dedication. When you have them, you succeed.
We are very grateful to our fans, who supported us both in Yerevan and in Athens. The players can feel their support and encouragement,” said Gyulbudaghyants.
