Armenian journalists’ football team will travel to Egypt to compete for the first time in the international tournament traditionally held in Hurghada. The tournament kicks off on April 3 and ends on April 6.
The event, organized for the third time, will feature six teams this year. The visiting teams from Armenia, Ukraine, Belarus, Sudan and Germany will compete with the Egyptian team and the team from Egyptian organization for tourism and hotels (EGOTH).
The teams will compete with each other over the first two days of the tournament.
Armenian journalists’ team has gained vast experience in international competitions, finishing third in the Lithuanian tournament for three times and taking silver in the 2018 tournament in Yerevan. The squad consists of journalists from different Armenian media outlets.
The Armenian team’s donors are ANRIVA TOUR, the only official Air Cairo representative in Armenia, and TotoGaming bookmaker.
