Aronian and Carlsen to compete for the 3rd place in Grand Chess Tour

The semi-final games concluded in the final stage of Grand Chess Tour in London.

In tie-break, Ding Liren (China) beat Levon Aronian (Armenia) and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France) defeated Magnus Carlsen (Norway).

Liren and Vachier-Lagrave will face off in the final and Aronian will compete with Carlsen for the third place.

Today is a day-off in the tournament. It will resume tomorrow, on December 6.
