Levon Aronian drops to 5th place in Grand Chess Tour

Round 6 of Grand Chess Tour has concluded in Bucharest.

After previous results Levon Aronian dropped points after drawing two games and losing one.

The defeat was against Viswanathan Anand (India) and the draws were against Vladislav Artemiev (Russia) and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (Azerbaijan).

Currently, Aronian has 6 points and sits 5th. The leader is Anton Korobov (Ukraine), who has earned 9 points.
