World champion Magnus Carlsen is the first chess player to stay unbeaten in 101 games.
In the last round of FIDE Chess.com Grand Swiss, the Swede drew with Levon Aronian.
Carlsen has not lost a classic game since July 2018.
Previous record of 100 games unbeaten was set by Ding Liren (China), who lost no game from August 2017 until November 2018.
