Yet another round of Grand Chess Tour has finished in St. Louis, U.S., where the strongest chess players competed in rapid and blitz tournaments.
Following a number of unsuccessful games, Levon Aronian has performed very well in this tournament. He started the tournament by taking the leading position, though he appeared in the second place a day after the finish.
Aronian played in a confident and balanced way in the last 9 games and took the first place with 22 points.
In addition to the important points at Grand Chess Tour, the Armenian chess player won USD 37,500.
