Levon Aronian is out of another Grand Prix leg

FIDE Grand Prix Riga has held the Armageddon games yesterday after competing Round 2.

Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian was knocked out in the tie-break against Yu Yangyi (China) after the draw they had in the classic game.

 

Earlier, Aronian had similar result in Grand Prix Moscow.

 

The winner of this competition will qualify for the Candidates’ Tournament.
