Aronian and Vachier-Lagrave draw in Croatia Grand Chess Tour

Another leg of Grand Chess Tour 2019 has kicked off in Zagreb, Croatia.

Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian, who is among the 12 players competing in Zagreb, has drawn with Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France) in Round 1. Aronian was playing with black pieces. The draw has earned him 0.5 point.

Three players won their respective games in Round 1 and earned a point: Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Fabiano Caruana (USA), Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia) and Wesley So (USA).
