Aronian to start competition in Croatia Grand Chess Tour today

The first round of yet another stage of Grand Chess Tour will take place today in Zagreb.

According to the draw, Armenian representative Levon Aronian will compete against Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France). The Armenian chess player will play the black.

Another 9 grandmasters will take part in the event. The prize fund of the competition (11 rounds) is USD 325k. The players will compete in Round Robin.
