Levon Aronian draws the second game in GRENKE Chess Classic

The annual GRENKE Chess Classic has kicked off in Baden-Baden. Armenia is represented in the tournament by grandmaster Levon Aronian.

He drew with Georg Meier (Germany) in Round 2. Aronian’s first game ended in a draw as well. Currently the Armenian grandmaster has 1 point and shares places 4-7 with other players.

The leader is Magnus Carlsen (Norway, 2 points). In Round 2 he beat Francisco Vallejo Pons (Spain).
