World Youth Chess C’ship to conclude soon

The World Youth Chess Championship is nearing the end in Greece as the games of the last but one round were held yesterday.

Armenian player Shant Sargsyan has kept his leadership among U16s. He beat Daniil Golikov (Russia) and took his point tally to 8.5, which is by 0.5 more than runner-up Viktor Matviishen (Ukraine).

In the last round Sargsyan will play against Pawel Teklaf (Poland).
