Armenia’s Shant Sargsyan has recorded another win among U16s’ in the World Youth Chess Championship.
Sargsyan (playing the black pieces) beat Abdimalik Abdisalamov of Uzbekistan in Round 9 and now sits top of the table with 7.5 points.
Anna Sargsyan from the U18 team has dropped six ranks and now sits 6th.
