FIDE published today the ranking list of top 100 chess players of September.
Levon Aronian improved his position again and now he is the 5th with 2,780 points. World champion Magnus Carlsen is the leader with 2,839 points.
Among Armenian grandmasters, Gabriel Sargsyan is in the 52nd and Hrant Melkumyan in the 85th position of FIDE Rating.
