The fights of the semifinal of the World Boxing Championship take place today in Yekaterinburg.
Armenia had only one representative at this stage - European champion Hovhannes Bachkov (63kg).
The Armenian boxer competed against Keyshawn Davis (USA). The active, interesting and intense fight ended with the American’s victory 4:1.
Bachkov has become the bronze medalist of the World Championship for the second time now.
Armenia was represented at the World Championship by 8 boxers.
