World Boxing Championship in Yekaterinburg has reached the quarter-finals, due to be held today.
Armenia will be represented by three athletes.
Artur Hovhannisyan’s confident win over the Azerbaijani opponent yesterday in 52kg weight category pushed him forward to quarter-finals, where he will face Saken Bibossinov (Kazakhstan).
Another European champion from Armenia, Hovhannes Bachkov (63kg) will fight against Leonel De Los Santos (Dominican Republic), and Arman Darchinyan (75kg) will compete with Tursynbay Kulakhmet (Kazakhstan).
