European champion and bronze medalist of the World Championship Hovhannes Bachkov takes part in the Governor Cup in Saint Petersburg.
He qualified for the final and will compete with Russian Pavel Fedorov. In the semi-final the Armenian boxer was stronger than Alier Noraliev from Uzbekistan.
Another Armenian athlete Narek Manasyan (under 91kg) has also qualified for the final. He will compete with Muslim Gadzhimagomedov from Russia.
The prize find of the Governor Cup, which is held for the 7th time now, is RUS 3.3 million.
