The Armenian boxing team is holding a training camp in Yerevan, preparing for the Strandja International Boxing Tournament, which will take place in Sofia.
“We held the first training of 2017 in Tsaghkadzor, where we work mostly on physical fitness. Our next tournament is in Bulgaria. We’ll have boxers in all weight categories,” head coach of the team Davit Torosyan told Mediamax Sport.
Armenia will be represented in Strandja Tournament by Gaspar Babakhanyan (49kg), Davit Asatryan (52kg), Henrik Mokoyan (56kg), Karen Tonakanyan (60kg), Hovhannes Bachkov (64kg), and Vladimir Margaryan (69kg).
Arman Darchinyan will compete in 75kg category, Arsen Hayrapetyan – in 80kg, Henrik Sargsyan – 91kg, and Davit Chaloyan will fight in +91 weight category.
