Armenian freestyle wrestlers will perform in the last days of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Armenian team is currently on the 37th place in medal count. Armenian athletes managed to win one gold medal and three silver medals. Armenia represented by Greco-Roman style wrestler Artur Aleksanyan got its first Olympic champion after a 20-year interval.
Silver medalists are Greco-Roman style wrestler Mihran Harutyunyan and weightlifters Simon Martirosyan and Gor Minasyan.
The US team leads in medal count with 100 medals, the second place is occupied by Great Britain (56 medals, 22 out of them gold), and China rounds up the top three (58 medals, 20 out of them gold).
