Armenia’s freestyle wrestling team will return home with three gold and two bronze medals from the Junior European Championship that ended in Rome.
Two of those gold medals were won on the last day of the competition, by Vazgen Tevanyan (61kg) and Hovhannes Maghakyan (125kg).
Tevanyan beat Intigam Valizada (Azerbaijan) 5-2
Maghakyan took the gold by defeating Yuri Idzinski (Urkaine).
Earlier, Arsen Harutyunyan won the championship in 57kg category, and Gegham Galstyan (65kg) and Arman Andriasyan (70kg) won bronze medals.
In medal count, Armenia took the third place.
