Maksim Manukyan: I train hard to get results in European and World championships

World champion Maksim Manukyan has won the Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship of Armenia. This time he competed in a different weight category, 87kg.

The wrestler has told the press it was his decision to participate in the championship.

“I was supposed to recover my form abroad, but I decided to take part in the tournament here. Now I will train to prepare for the next competitions. Everything goes well and I believe I will have good performance at European and World championships,” he said.

Manukyan has highlighted he will compete in 82kg category in the next tournaments and in 87kg in 2019 in order to represent Armenia in that category in the Olympics.
