Two Armenian wrestlers to compete for medals in Junior World Championship

Two members of Armenia freestyle wrestling team will compete for medals in the Junior World Championship.

European Championship’s bronze medalist Karen Zurabyan (50kg) reached the final. He impressed in his matches, defeating athletes from Kosovo, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan.

Zurabyan will wrestle with Shahin Mukhtarov (Azerbaijan) in the final.

Sargis Hovsepyan (96kg) will compete for the bronze medal with Ibrahim Ciftci (Turkey).

Two other members of the Armenian team - Ghazar Hambardzumyan (60kg) and Hrayr Alikhanyan (74kg) – are out of the competition.
