Junior Wrestling World Championship kicked off today in Tampere, Finland. Freestyle wrestlers are the first to compete.
European Championship’s bronze medalist Karen Zurabyan (50kg) will face Drilon Syla (Kosovo) in the qualifying round.
Ghazar Hambardzumyan (60kg) and Hrayr Alikhanyan (74kg) will also begin in the qualifying round. Their respective competitors are Hiromu Sakaki (Japan) and Yahor Akulich (Belarus).
Another Armenian athlete Sargis Hovsepyan (96kg) will start in the 1/8 finals with the match against Aliaksei Rudzianok (Belarus).
