Armenian team has won a bronze medal in the European Freestyle Junior Wrestling Championship in Dortmund.
Karen Zurabyan (50kg) climbed the third place of the platform on the first day of the competition. He defeated Engin Cetin (Turkey) 11-4 in the finals.
Four other members of the Armenia team will compete today, all of them starting from 1/8 final. Arsen Harutyunyan (55kg) will wrestle with Pavlo Vyzir (Ukraine) and Gevorg Mkheyan’s (66kg) opponent will be Mirza Skhulukhia (Georgia).
Hovhannes Mkhitaryan (84kg) is to face Samuel Scherrer (Switzerland) and Hovhannes Maghakyan (120kg) will try to defeat Roman Dovhaliuk (Ukraine).
