Yasar Dogu International Tournaments have ended in Istanbul, where the Armenia freestyle wrestling team won two medals.
Narek Sirunyan represented Armenia in the 65kg category. The wrestler defeated all his opponents and qualified for the final. He lost that fight and won the silver medal.
Earlier, Valodya Frangulyan (61kg) took the bronze.
Armenia sent a 10-men team under Armen Mkrtchyan’s management to Yasar Dogu tournament. That was the team’s first competition with the newly-appointed head coach.
