Armenia will participate in the European U23 Weightlifting Championship that will take place in Albania on October 15-22.
Head coach of the Armenia U23 team Pashik Alaverdyan told Mediamax Sport they didn’t know anything certain about the terms of Armenia’s disqualification.
“We only know for sure we’ll be in the European U23 Championship. We already got the tickets and visas,” said Alaverdyan.
Coach Vigen Khachatryan added they were already training in Yerevan. The team will travel to Albania in two groups on the 15th and 17th of October.
The team members are Zhorzh Yeghikyan (77kg), Andranik Karapetyan (85kg), Karush Ghukasyan (94kg), Mkrtich Mkrtchyan (105kg), and Gor Minasyan (+105kg).
