Armenia has won its first medal in the IWF Youth World Championship, taking place in Malaysia.
European champion in 85kg category Karen Avagyan became bronze medalist, lifting total 318kg.
The winner of this competition is Giovanni Sanchez (Venezuela) with 329kg result.
Armenian team will perform tomorrow as well – Varazdat Lalayan (+94kg) and Arpine Dalalyan (+69kg) will compete in the super weight category.
