Alpine skier from the Armenian Olympic team Ashot Karapetyan has already received his skiing equipment and will be able to train starting from today.

The athlete told Mediamax Sport reporter today that he had physical readiness training in the morning and now he is completely focused on his performance.

“I will have the first training tomorrow. I will do everything possible to make sure my performance in the Olympic Games is perfect,” Karapetyan said.

“The equipment issue for our athlete has already been solved. A pair of skis and boots was provided by National Olympic Committee of Armenia and another pair by Armenian Ski Federation. I would like to express my gratitude to my brother from Moscow for taking care of all transfers, as well as Fischer and Fischer Russia companies for the support,” Secretary General of the Armenian Ski Federation Gagik Sargsyan wrote on his Facebook page.

In the 23rd Winter Olympic Games Ashot Karapetyan is expected to perform on February 18-22.
