Four Armenian swimmers will take part in FINA World Championships on July 14-30 in Budapest.
Head coach of the Armenia team Misak Gabrielyan told Mediamax Sport that Vahan Mkhitaryan (50m freestyle and butterfly) and Vladimir Mamikonyan (100m freestyle) will represent Armenia in the men’s competition.
As for the women, Ani Poghosyan will compete in 50m backstroke and freestyle events, while Elena Yesayan will perform in 50m and 100m freestyle.
Armenia will send swimmers to the Summer Youth Olympic Festival as well: Artur Baghdasaryan and Varsenik Manucharyan will perform in Györ, Hungary, on July 23-30.
The swimmers will train in Yerevan and hold a training camp in Tsaghkadzor next month.
