“Mediamax Sport” continues “Sports Beauty of the Week” series.
25-year-old Croatian Antonija Misura plays for Toulouse Métropole Basket team and for the Croatia women's national basketball team. Misura represented the national team in the 2009 Mediterranean Games, EuroBasket Women 2011 and the 2012 London Olympics.
Misura has always been in the spotlight of the media. Surveys conducted by various media companies have listed Misura among the most beautiful athletes. Misura is often described as the most beautiful sportswoman of Croatia. She was named Miss Mediterranean Games in 2009. The American sports website Bleacher Report named her the most beautiful female competitor at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
NBA player Nate Robinson commented that Misura "might be the most beautiful female basketball player ever to lace up some sneakers".
- Antonija, when did you realize that basketball is the most important sport in your life?
- I fell in love with basketball when I was a kid. My father motivated me. He also plays basketball well. I decided to take my first steps in that direction, and change the era. So I moved forward without being afraid of anything. (Smiling).
- Who inspires you most in sport?
- Legend Michael Jordan and WNBA player Elena Delle Donne.
- If you could play basketball one on one with one player, alive or dead, who would he be?
- Definitely, Michael Jordan. 
- What would you love to achieve in sports in future?
- I think I have a long way to go and lots of things to achieve. I live just hoping for the best. Fingers crossed!!!
- What is the top priority for you right now?
- The most important thing now is my basketball career and everything connected with it.
- When you are out of basketball, when you can be found? What do you do in you spare time?
- I spend my time with my family and friends, hang out at the weekend, work out and watch movies.
- Your out of sports style.
- I think that I have to be fashionable and trendy, because lots of people around are watching you. About my make-up. I think my make-up lass knows more about it. (Laughing) But I use French cosmetics.
- What do you usually keep in your gym bag?
- Small dumbbells, my iPhone and minute exercising kits.
- If someone turned on your iPod right now, what song would it be playing?
- “Stereo hearts” by Adam Levine.
- You are often described as the most beautiful athlete of Croatia. What beauty secrets can you share with us?
- I do daily exercises, maintain a proper diet and sleep regularly. Thus, when I wake up, I am already full of energy and ready for fun.
- Sports and personal life - Do you have enough time for both?
- Yes, I spend lots of time with my family and team mates. I am a proper manager. I successfully manage everything.
- Antonija, do you know any of Armenian athletes? 
- Hripsime Khurshudyan.. I followed her appearances in London 2014 Olympics, where she achieved bronze medal.
- You have had lots of photo shoots for different media outlets. Do you consider modeling as your second profession?
- I am just interested in modeling and will continue doing it part-time.
