Armenian footballer Yura Movsisyan has joined a new club on loan after Real Salt Lake waived him in the beginning of March.
The forward will play for Djurgardens FI in Sweden’s top league, Allsvenskan. He is supposed to stay with the club for six months, but his contract has an extension clause.
Djurgarden has published an interview with Movsisyan on their official website. The Armenian forward has noted that he knew a lot about Sweden from his time playing in Denmark and that he is happy to return to European football.
“Allsvenskan has become much stronger in recent years. Swedish clubs play in the Champions League and Europa League. I am happy that Djurgarden will be in Europa League. It is a good chance for me,” said Movsisyan.
