Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan believes his team can win the Europa League. According to him, Arsenal has the potential, but only time will show how they use it.
The Gunners beat hosts Ostersunds 0-3 in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie.
“I think it was their first game for a while. We are in the season, so we keep playing and we are more practiced. But I can say, they have got a very good team, they try to show off their ability and skills, but we scored two goals at the beginning and it helped us easily,” Mkhitaryan said after the game.
He made two assists, one resulting in an own goal for Ostersunds and the other giving Mesut Ozil the opportunity to score.
Mkhitaryan won the Europa League in the 2016/17 season with Manchester United, scoring the winner in the final.
