FC Linköping’s Pachajyan to help Armenian players sign for the Swedish club

Former Armenia midfielder Levon Pachajyan, who plays for Linköping City (Sweden), will introduce several Armenian footballers to his club’s board.

“I always thought of doing that. For instance, when I was playing in Iran I introduced Valery Aleksanyan to my club and everything turned out well. Linköping City board welcomed my suggestion, as it’s time to try new players and if they like the qualities of a footballer, they’ll take him,” Pachajyan told Mediamax Sport.

He already contacted several Armenian experts who can suggest young players. Pachajyan will try to draw the club’s attention to as many Armenian footballers as possible.

“Sweden is a great springboard for players to get into top European leagues. At Linköping, they will be able to advance and later get into stronger clubs. However, if they stay at Linköping, that will be a good achievement too. Football is on the rise in Sweden. I hope the negotiations will be successful,” told the player.
