Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho believes Zlatan Ibrahimovic should join the coaching staff of the club after retirement.

The Swede player is currently recovering from serious knee injury he sustained in Europa League this April.

It was revealed recently that Man Utd is in talks with Ibrahimovic about a new contract. Mourinho has high regard for the player’s role in the team.

The manager believes that Ibrahimovic “can offer the squad experience, while also serving as a bridge between the players and coaching staff”.

“We are discussing the possibility of him to stay with us. It was very clear from him that what he did last year was not enough for him. He wants more football at the highest level so we are having conversations and discussing the possibility of him staying for the second part of the season,” Mourinho said earlier.
