The first Manchester derby in the U.S. ended with United defeating City 2-0.

That marked Man United’s third successive win in as many games of the club’s U.S. tour.

Romelu Lukaku scored the opener in the 37th minute and Marcus Rashford claimed the win for Mancunians from Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s pass.

“We’re having a great pre-season. We defeated two MLS clubs and now we play with the world’s strongest teams. Everything is going well,” said United manager Jose Mourinho.

Man Utd will face Real Madrid on July 23, and then once again on August 8 to play the UEFA Super Cup.
