Five foreign clubs want to sign the Armenia national youth football team and FC Shirak (Gyumri) midfielder Vahan Bichakhchyan.
According to his agent Ruben Vesmadyan, Benfica, Zenit St. Petersburg, two Italian and two English clubs are after the Armenian player.
Galatasaray S.K. (Turkey) tried to sign Bichakhchyan earlier, but the player refused the bid.
“We want to find a new club for Vahan and Benfica complies with our requirements. Bichakhchyan has all chances to become the next Mkhitaryan,” Portuguese media quoted Vesmadyan.
Vahan Bichakhchyan turned 18 on July 9 and can sign the contract with a foreign club.
