UEFA has announced it set several new awards.
The best goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards of the Champions League will be announced in Monaco on August 24.
On the next day, UEFA will award the top players of Europa League.
The best players will be voted for by leading coaches of the 2016-2017 Champions and Europa Leagues, as well as sport journalists of 55 UEFA member countries.
As in previous year, UEFA will award Men’s Player of the Year and Women’s Player of the Year. All awards will be presented after August 15, when UEFA Women’s EURO concludes.
