Aronian finishes 6th in St. Lewis rapid

Rapid chess competition has ended in St. Louis event of Grand Chess Tour.

In the last three rounds, Levon Aronian shared points with Wesley So (USA) and Alexander Grischuk (Ukraine) and beat Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France).

Having earned 9 points in total, the Armenian grandmaster finished 6th. The winner is Hikaru Nakamura (USA) with 12 points.

The Blitz competition kicks off today.
